Jean-Claude Martinez, Chairman

Mr. Jean-Claude Martinez is currently employed at Sofinnova Partners. He is the Chief Operating Officer at Esmertec K.K. Mr. Martinez has been Chief Operating Officer at Esmertec AG since March 2004 and also serves as the President of Esmertec’s Mobile Operator Division. He has been Interim Executive Vice President of Sales at Esmertec AG since July 3, 2006. Mr. Martinez has been President at Cellicium since February 2006.

He has over 20 years of international sales, marketing and strategic development experience in the IT industry. Mr. Martinez served as the Chief Executive Officer at Esmertec AG, from July 3, 2006 to December 1, 2007 and as its Interim Chief Executive Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer, from May 18, 2006 to July 3, 2006 and Senior Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Esmertec, he was Vice President, Sales for the European, Middle Eastern and African markets at Bitfone. Mr. Martinez served as Vice President, Sales EMEA at Openwave, where he developed the sales and partner structure to cover the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets. He served as General Manager with several international companies including Global Knowledge Network AG, from 1998 to 2000 and Riva Hugin Sweda AG, from 1995 to 1998.

Mr. Martinez holds a Business Administration degree from Ecole Superieur de Commerce et d’Administration des Enterprises.

Lars Pedersen, CEO

Lars Pedersen joined CommProve as CEO in 2009.

Prior to this position he was CEO in InnovFocus, a company in the management consulting industry. In addition he was Deputy CEO of NetTest A/S and President of Anritsu Instruments Group.

He has over 19 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in various senior sales and senior management positions in the OSS/T&M Industry.

Lars Pedersen holds a PhD in Optical Communications and a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.

Dominique Pitteloud

Dominique is a Senior Investment Director with Endeavour Vision and focuses on investments in the semiconductor and communication sectors, specialising in wireless technologies. He has led or co-led investments for Endeavour Vision in CommProve, Sequans Communications, where he is a director, as well as Staccato Communications, Media Lario Technologies, Sphera, eProject, Native Networks (sold to Alcatel) and M7 (sold to BEA).

Prior to venture capital, Dominique was Vice President of Marketing at 8×8, a Silicon Valley semiconductor and telecom equipment company. Dominique joined 8×8 in 1999 as part of the acquisition of Odisei, a VoIP start-up from Sophia Antipolis, France. At Odisei, Dominique led the development of the company’s business and financing activities. Prior to Odisei, Dominique held various engineering and management positions at Logitech, a market leader in computer peripherals, including Vice President of the scanner and video camera business units.

Dominique received a BSc in Telecommunications from the Swiss engineering school of Yverdon and a MBA from Santa Clara University.

Mauro Pretolani

Mauro Pretolani is a General Partner of TLcom Capital LLP, where he focuses on Telecom and Internet Protocol Technologies and Services. He is currently on the board of Upstream Systems, Runcom Technologies, Minerva Networks, CommProve and Axerra Networks. He was previously CEO and Chairman of the Board at CommProve, and a board member of Sphera Technologies and of Netscalibur Ltd. TLcom Capital LLP is also the Liquidator and Manager of the EuroQube fund.

Mauro joined TLcom at its inception in 1999, participating both in the firm’s foundation and the raising of the TLcom I fund. Previously, Mauro was a Manager in Bain & Company’s TMT practice, serving telecommunications, internet and media clients in Europe and Silicon Valley. Before joining Bain, he worked in the Marketing and Treasury departments of Procter & Gamble in Greece and Italy.

Mauro holds a Summa cum Laude Laurea Degree in Business Administration from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.”

Chris Cobbold

Mr. Chris Cobbold joined TVM Capital in 2001, and is a Partner in the firm’s technology investment practice. He focuses on investments in telecommunications, internet infrastructure, semiconductors and components. Mr. Cobbold works actively as an Observer on the board of Ubidyne and is currently a director of Arteris, Silicon Hive and CommProve. He led TVM Capital’s investment into Azea Networks, which was acquired by Xtera Communications in November 2007 and is an Observer on Xtera’s board.

Prior to TVM Capital, Mr. Cobbold was an Engineering Manager at Telus Mobility in Vancouver. His experience in mobile communications spans wireless data, network planning, deployment and optimization. He was involved in the start-up phase for newly licensed mobile operators in South Korea, Spain and Belgium. Mr. Cobbold also worked in the Toronto office of Andersen Consulting, designing and implementing logistics and technology solutions for a large retail client.

He holds a B.Sc. and M.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University and the University of British Columbia, respectively. He received an MBA degree from INSEAD in 2001.

Enrico Andreini, CTO

Enrico was one of the original founders of CommProve and remains actively involved on a day-to-day basis directing the company’s technical strategy as Chief Technology officer.

As architect of the Netledge/ Quantiqa system, he made the design choices which have given CommProve its technical competitiveness. He has a deep knowledge of radio engineering with 20 years of experience in the field, having started his career in QoS monitoring of TV broadcast signals.
